The Band-Aides are a group of band parents and friends of the band who help with fundraising, planning and carrying out events, uniforms, parades, and publicity. In the past, the Band-Aides sewed new vests for our jazz band. There are a few brave souls who enjoy performing music together, but this is not a requirement for participating in the Band-Aides group.

The Band-Aides are always in need of help to support our ongoing band events.  Please contact Aimee Pashby at 715-468-7814, pashbya@shelllake.k12.wi.us, or 2musicians@centurytel.net if you are interested in helping out.

The Band-Aides sewed these tux vests for our High School Jazz Ensemble.

How can you help?

• Manage checking in and out of marching band uniforms.
  
• Repair or hem marching uniforms.
  
• Write articles for the Laker and newspaper about band events.
  
• Take photos of the band for publicity and slide shows.
  
• Help plan events like Cabaret and the Chili Feed
  
• Decorate for band events.
  
• Work at band events.
  
• Volunteer for Solo & Ensemble Festivals recording scores, monitoring performance sites, monitoring hallways and homerooms, serving food to judges and educators, selling concessions.
  
• Plan fundraisers.
  
• Manage fundraisers.
  
• Perform with the Band-Aides. 
• Chaperone future band trips.
