Students have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities here at school. All students are encouraged to become involved in the following offerings here at school each year:
Smiles (9-12) For anyone interested in being a mentor to students in the Elementary and some Primary Level. Smiles offers a one on one personal relationship with students that are in need of Support.
Forensics (9-12) Forensics Forensics is a student organization for grades 9-12. This organization provides an opportunity for students to enhance their communication skills through activities such as various themed speeches, play acting, poetry reading, storytelling, and prose reading. Students compete on sub-district and district levels, culminating in a state competition with approximately 6,000 students from all over Wisconsin.
Science Olympiad (9-12) Science Olympiad is a fun science competition. It is nationally recognized and the 28 events range in topic from Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Astronomy, Environment, & Engineering. There are build events, exam events, and inquiry events, and students will compete in a minimum of 3 events per tournament.
Student Council (7-8 and 9-12) Student leaders serve as representatives of student body. Work to promote school spirit and a positive environment, plan homecoming activities, community service projects, dances. Opportunities to attend conferences, workshops. Sr. High - application process and elections in the spring. Jr. High - elections in the fall. Ms. Heidi Vanderloop
FFA (7-8 and 9-12) For anyone interested in the many aspects of agriculture. Assists with Farmers Institute; sponsors plant sale in the spring. Learn parliamentary procedure, raising animals, soil judging. Mrs. Bos
Destination Imagination- Possibly available for this school year for the 7th and 8th grade students only.
