Introduction

Hola! My name is Santana E., I am a junior at Shell Lake high school. I love learning new things. I love the outdoors and spending time with my friends and family! I am very outgoing and energetic, I also like to think of myself as funny (: My favorites involve cheese, green, horses, reading, writing, singing, and dancing. I also have a list of favorite people including Martin Luther King Jr. and Abraham Lincoln. I have a lot of friends, but some are more special than others, my three main best friends are Amanda,  Felicia, and Keyla! I also have another very close friend his name is Joey Kodesh! I get a long great with others, and I love meeting new people. I have an enormous family and ever single one of them has a very special place in my heart. I hate math and love literature. I am going to college to be a nurse, a vet, a lawyer and for journalism. I have a lot of plans for my life and I plan on making them all happen! The main topics were going to cover this year in Chemistry are: Science Process & Data Measurement, Chemical Lab Skills & LAB SAFETY, Properties & Changes of Matter, Structure & Electrons in Atoms, The Periodic Table & Periodic Law, Ionic & Covalent Compounds, Chemical Reactions, The Mole & Stoichiometry, States of Matter & Gases, Mixture & Solutions, and Acids & Bases. I’m excited to learn about new things, and to learn about how things react when they are put together. I would have to say that the topic that I am most excited about would be The Mole & Stoichiometry! Mainly the mole, just because I hear so much about it and I just want to learn more about it. I think the two topics that can relate mainly to everyday life would be The Periodic Table and The Periodic Law. I think those two because they are really the only thing you constantly and consistently is the periodic table. So learning the periodic table and the periodic law are the logical things that compare to everyday life. My short-term goal for this quarter was to pay attention in class and to prioratize. My medium-term goal for this year was to get all of my work in on time including my portfolio and staying on task. My first long term goal is to go to UWEC to be an RN. My second long term goal is I want to major in Journalism in UWEC.
